Video Games create the feel of reality
Growing up in Chicago, Illinois I had a hard time staying out of trouble. Everyday it was something new I did that made my mother and grandmother upset with me. I had to figure out a way I could stay out of trouble but still have fun at the same time. Thats when I turned to video games and that changed my life forever. The games I played were Madden and NBA 2k, both sports games that I were connected with. I also played games such as Call of duty and Grand theif auto. These games made me feel like I was the one actually involved in the activities. The sport games affected me the most because it got me involved with different sports around my area and made me more discipline. I had the feeling of an epic win because not only was I winning games on the Xbox, but I was winning games on the field and was making my town known for football. My community was very bad at the time and we had no hope for change until I brought the idea of playing organize sports up. Playing these games changed my life as well as others. I felt like I was doing something positive to change our enviroment, and it was all because of video games that I was playing at the time. The games felt real and I was winning so I felt I could do the same things in real life and make a change.
