Facebook a Social Community
Last night I was on Facebook looking through some old pictures of me and my friends from when we were little kids. I haven't seen them in almost 10 years or even longer than that. I always wonder what they are up to, or if they got married and have kids. As I was looking and searching I noticed I had a friend request from a person who looked very familar. I clicked on her picture and seen that it was my old elementary buddy who I use to hang with all the time. I haven't talked to her in a long time so I was scared of what she would say if I wrote her. Thats when I realized that on Facebook I could write whatever I wanted and wouldn't have to worry about how she would look or feel about what I wrote since she couldn't see me. Facebook allows me to express the way I feel through messages that I would never say infront of that person. I'm not afraid to say what I feel because I know that person can't see my face. It allows me to be my real self because if I was having a conversation in person I might be to scared to express how I really feel. I love Facebook because I have no worries about what to say or even how to say it. Plus most of the time if I say something I feel might offend the person I can write an lol at the end of it.
