Action Figures

The other day me and my little cousin were walking in the store of Wal Mart. In the beginning I had to force him to go because he cried about not wanting to leave the house. I finally convinced him I would take him out for ice cream he went to the store with me. As we are walking in the store we passed the aisle with the toy section and it grabbed his attention. He stopped and picked up a couple of Gi Joe toys that he had seen. With in one minute my little cousin Jacob thought he was a Gi Joe and started fighting bad guys in the store. There was no bad guys in the store in reality, but in his head he felt like he had to stop them from tearing the store apart. Ever since that day he's been acting like the biggest macho man on the planet. He feels he has to be the man of the house now and nobody is incharge but him. My cousin was once sensitive and kind of soft at one point until that day. Those action figures changed him and made him feel the need to be a macho man and be rough and aggressive. He feels in his mind that he's a real Gi Joe and thinks he can lead an army into war in Iraq because of what he saw on television. Action figures make young boys feel the urge to be dominant and in control of every situation that takes place.
