More kills then the entirety of human history

http://www.bungie.net/stats/reach/online.aspx

This article shows in a neat little info-graph that in all of the video game Halo multiplayer, players have killed more people than there have ever lived on Earth. Estimated 108,000,000,000 people have ever lived on planet Earth and a staggering 136,128,511,043 players have been killed over the span of about a decade of Halo multiplayer. Granted, the obvious differences in the two of one being a video game and one being actual human life diminish this fact a little bit. However, over 100 trillion people have been killed in this online game alone. Think of how many more kills have been made in any other video game. Breaking down even further, in the game Halo: Reach, players averaged 1.5 billion kills a month. Its hard to correlate that between how much is being played, but the number of players killed is very curious. However, the total play time of all halo games in years is 235,182. in the past decade players have played almost 250,000 years of Halo, and Halo just being one game. I myself have played Halo, and at the same time, was playing other games. The amount of time spent playing video games is very under appreciated. I know first hand the amount of time I've wasted playing hours upon hours of video games. However, one would say "time spent enjoying yourself isn't wasted time at atll."
