Being brought up in the microwave era, the fable of the Little Red Hen is long forgotten. It is rare that anyone wants to work hard in the kitchen. For some, the simple task of boiling water is as complex as an algebraic equation. Instead of gardening the vegetables, consumers rush to the nearest Walmart to purchase "fresh" produce and the conveniently prepared packaged meals. The question to be asked is, how fresh are food items that our FDA approves of? Take a look at what is allowed in your food..
Canned Citrus Juices (such as orange juice) - 5 or more Drosophila and other fly eggs per 250 ml or 1 or more maggots per 250 ml
Cornmeal - Average of 25 or more insect fragments per 25 grams

Fig Paste - 13 or more insect heads per 100 grams of fig paste

Speechless yet?
Aside of the "fresh" food, we cannot overlook McDonalds. The special "M" that appeals to even your toddler is part of the reason our nation suffers so greatly from OBESITY. According to a survey derived from n America alone, 35.7 percent of adults are obese and 17 percent of children suffer from obesity as well. In 2008 McDonalds spent $1 billion dollars on advertising in the U.S. alone. In 2009 McDonalds earned a revenue of $1.26 billion dollars per quarter. In the midst of it all, people suffered heart attacks and diabetes due to high blood pressure. Food--what we need to survive is actually part of why we are dying...
