I love learning about popular culture and the connection it has to communication. I know we have spent a LOT of our time in class discussing popular culture when it comes to social media, however there are so many other forms of popular culture in media in our society today. One of my favorite forms of media popular culture is satire and sarcasm. I love when a video is made in order to poke fun at some other example of media, advertisements, and entertainment. In this post I have attached a video that me and some previous classmates of mine created making fun of the "infomercial" style of advertising seen usually on late-night television.
